Cookbook of Dutch singer-songwriter Douwe Bob.
To add some Dutch culture and color to this cookbook, we used everyday canvas tablecloths. We cut out shapes and pieces and used them to create new prints and patterns. These prints were digitalised and editied to use as backgrounds and illustrations in the book. For every chapter a specific illustration and color was chosen.
A large number of recipes are specified for barbecuing, so a custom charcoal alfabet was created to highlight specific content and text. This way another layer of design was added to this cookbook.
