Studio Pieter Jan Boterhoek is a visual design studio specialised in Brand & Identity Design.

Through playful and experimental design methods, cohesive design-systems are created. This process often translates into bespoke typography and the strong use of detailed shape and color systems. The aim is to inspire, bring positivity and above all - have fun.

From the Amsterdam based office SPJB works on both commissioned as well as self initiated projects.

The self-initiated work emphasises the roots of Pieter Jan Boterhoek himself. Born and raised in a small village in Friesland, this community is still a great source of inspiration for his creative process. These projects entail lino cutting, various 3D projects and analogue photography inspired by this scenic coastal area.
